NAFDAC Warns Against Bledine Infant Cereals Over Contamination Risks

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has clarified that it received no instruction from the federal government to stop enforcement of regulations on sachet alcohol. The clarification follows public confusion over alleged government intervention.

Signed by NAFDAC Director-General, Mojisola Adeyeye, the statement explained that enforcement activities would continue as part of efforts to ensure public safety and compliance with health standards.

She stated that there was misinformation circulating online suggesting a suspension of the policy and underlined that any changes to enforcement would require formal communication from relevant authorities.
