The Naira appreciated to ₦1,535 per dollar in the parallel market on Tuesday, buoyed by reduced demand and improved liquidity conditions.
This represents a ₦25 gain, a 1.6% increase from Monday’s rate of ₦1,560 in the unofficial market.

A similar trend was observed in the official foreign exchange market, where the Naira also strengthened against the dollar. Data from the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, showed that the currency closed at ₦1,510 per dollar, marginally improving from ₦1,512 recorded in the previous trading session.
The latest movement signals cautious optimism amid ongoing efforts to stabilise the foreign exchange landscape.
