National Population Commission The National Population Commission (NPC) says despite the security challenges in some states, the 2023 census will hold in every part of the country.
Speaking in Kano yesterday, Nasir Isa Kwarra, Chairman of the Commission, said the census will be fully digitalised as the NPC has already begun using digital maps for counting houses.
According to Mr. Kwarra, the NPC has demarcated 773 Local Government Areas in the country, with only one left to complete the exercise.
He said preparations for the census have already been intensified and by April next year when the census will hold with everything fully digitised.
