Nigeria’s National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, has vowed that all threats to the nation’s security, whether domestic or international, will be met with justice.
Addressing attendees at the graduation ceremony of the Executive Intelligence Management Course 17 at the National Institute of Security Studies in Abuja, Mallam Ribadu underscored the strides made in fostering collaboration among security agencies under President Bola Tinubu’s administration. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to a zero-tolerance policy on security challenges.
Acknowledging the sacrifices made by the country’s security forces, Mallam Ribadu paid tribute to the 38 soldiers who recently lost their lives in an operational accident, describing their service as a testament to the bravery and resilience of Nigeria’s armed forces.

Former Niger State Governor, Dr Babangida Aliyu, who chaired the event, advocated for stricter penalties for attacks on security personnel, including the death penalty for offenders. Dr Aliyu highlighted the alarming toll such attacks have taken, citing the deaths of 229 police officers in less than two years.
