The Federal Government says the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, will carry out a comprehensive audit of all local airlines in the country.
Speaking on a television programme monitored by Radio Now’s Newsdesk on Thursday, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, said beyond the suspension and ongoing audit of Dana Airlines, all other carriers in the country will be audited to guarantee the safety of passengers and the health of the civil aviation industry.

Just yesterday, a former Director-General of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms, Joe Abah, narrated on X how an aircraft engineer drew the attention of the Captain of an Ibom Air flight to a faulty landing gear.
According to Joe Abah, the engineer’s actions resulted in passengers being de-boarded from the Abuja-bound flight.Â
