The Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, has defended the Super Eagles’ choice of hotel in Morocco following online criticism over the team’s accommodation. Concerns were raised after midfielder Alex Iwobi shared images showing the modest surroundings of the team’s base in Rabat.
According to the team’s media officer, the Eagles are staying at Rive Hotel, selected for its proximity to both the training facility and match venue. The NFF explained that photos circulating online showed an old building near the hotel, not the team’s actual quarters.
