Nigeria Finishes Second as Uganda Clinch ILT20 Continent Cup

Nigeria’s Yellow-Greens finished as runners-up in the ILT20 Continent Cup in Kigali, Rwanda, after a six-wicket defeat to Uganda in the final.

Despite a shaky start to the tournament, where Nigeria lost five consecutive games after winning two opening matches, the team managed to bounce back and secure a place in the final.

Captain Sylvester Okpe expressed that the competition was valuable for the team’s development, helping them improve ahead of the crucial 2026 T20 World Cup qualifiers next year.
