Operatives of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) have apprehended 40 undocumented migrants in various locations within Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State.
According to a breakdown provided by the authorities, the group comprises 27 Cameroonians, 10 Beninese, two Ghanaians, and one Togolese. Among them, 32 are male and eight are female, all aged between 18 and 35.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Oyo State Comptroller of Immigration, Tayo Dada, said that 10 of the individuals claimed to be farmers, while the remaining 30 said they were engaged in online marketing. However, none of them was found to possess valid residence permits or travel documents.
