The Department of State Services, DSS, has filed terrorism charges against seven individuals accused of operating within a coordinated network across several regions.
The cases, lodged at the Federal High Court in Abuja on 19 November, include allegations of financial support, logistics and armed activities linked to separatist groups. One suspect, Ibrahim Ali Larabo, is said to have run a bureau de change tied to transactions under investigation.
The DSS also confirmed progress in older cases. Ismaila, known as Mai Tangaran, was convicted for attacks on police facilities dating back to 2012 and received concurrent sentences ranging from 15 to 20 years. Trials for other internationally wanted suspects are scheduled to resume in January.
