President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered all national flags to fly at half-staff for seven days in honour of his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari, who died on Sunday in London.
The former president passed away while undergoing treatment for an undisclosed illness, following a prolonged period of ill health.
In a statement issued by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu described President Buhari as a patriot, soldier, and statesman whose legacy of sacrifice and national service would endure.
