The Nigeria National League (NNL) has announced that the 2024-25 season will resume on Saturday, January 4, 2025, following the Christmas and New Year break. The league was paused after three weeks of action.
NNL Chairman, George Aluo, confirmed that preparations for the resumption are complete, assuring that they are going to maintain best standards in the league and ensure a worthy champion emerges at the end of the season.

At the break, Abia Comets led Conference A with 7 points, while debutants Kun-Khalifat made an impressive start, winning all three matches to top Conference B. In Conference C, Wikki Tourists are in first place with 7 points, while Basira FC leads Conference D.
The NNL will continue to focus on ensuring competitive fairness and maintaining high standards as the teams gear up for the remainder of the season.
