Nigeria’s influence in world football has deepened with the appointment of three prominent figures to key FIFA Standing Committees. NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau joins the FIFA Men’s Club Competitions Committee, legal expert Abdulhakeem Mustapha (SAN) takes a seat on the Anti-Racism and Anti-Discrimination Committee, while seasoned administrator Ayishat Falode joins the Media and Communications Committee.
Amaju Pinnick, FIFA Men’s National Teams Competitions Committee Deputy Chairperson, congratulated the trio, describing the appointments as a recognition of Nigeria’s strategic importance and professionalism in football governance.
