Nigeria To Ban Cooking Gas Export To Crash Price, Says Minister

The Federal Government says it is working to halt the exportation of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), also known as cooking gas in order to bring prices down.

The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Mr Ekperikpe Ekpo, who was speaking at the opening of its Internal Stakeholders’ Workshop in Abuja, said all LPG produced within the country will have to be domesticated, leading to an increase in volume, and subsequently lower prices.
