Nigeria will assume chairmanship of the Intergovernmental Group of Twenty-Four, known as the G-24, from Argentina on November 1, 2025, the Central Bank of Nigeria announced on Wednesday. Formed in 1971, the G-24 represents the interests of developing economies in shaping global monetary policy and development financing. Nigeria is expected to unveil its work programme after consultations with member states.
