The Nigerian Correctional Service has offered a ₦5 million reward for credible information leading to the recapture of inmates who recently escaped from the Medium Security Custodial Centre in Ilesha, Osun State.
The announcement, made in Abuja by Service spokesperson Abubakar Umar, is part of a wider appeal for public cooperation in locating the fugitives.
Authorities say the incentive is aimed at encouraging citizens to share intelligence that could aid the swift return of the escapees to custody.
