Outspoken social media critic Martins Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan, broke down in tears on Wednesday after news emerged that abducted Anambra entrepreneur, Ifesinachi Onyekere—popularly called ‘Fish Magnate’—had been killed.
Mr Onyekere, son of a senior figure in the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, was kidnapped from his home in Ezinifite, Awka South, last Saturday. His body was discovered days later, fuelling national outrage.

In a video shared on Facebook, an emotional VeryDarkMan decried the rising insecurity in Anambra and across Nigeria, questioning the safety of business owners and young entrepreneurs.
He announced plans to visit the state on the 4th of August for a candlelight procession and awareness walk through the fish market in memory of the slain businessman.
Security concerns persist in the southeast, with kidnappings and killings leaving communities on edge.
