Members of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors, NARD, have suspended their 10-day old strike action which left many patients in hospitals across the country unattended.

The President of NARD, Dr Uyilawa Okhuaihesuyi, confirmed the suspension of the strike 2 days ago in Abuja, explaining that the decision was reached by the leadership of the union after a virtual meeting with members which lasted about 15 hours.
