Nigerian Sets Guinness World Record for Longest Magic Show by an Individual

Nigerian magician Ibitoye Kingfahd, also known as Faddothegreat, has officially been recognised by Guinness World Records for the longest magic show by an individual. He completed 50 hours of nonstop magic from November 27 to 29, 2025, breaking the previous record of just over 30 hours held by a UK magician.

The record-breaking performance took place at Pop Landmark in Victoria Island, Lagos where Faddothegreat performed illusions, mind-reading acts, and stage routines without repeating tricks, all under strict Guinness supervision and continuous witness monitoring.

Guinness World Records confirmed the achievement on its website. Faddothegreat’s attempt was aimed at challenging misconceptions about magic in Nigeria and inspiring a new appreciation for the art form.
