Troops of the Nigerian military attached to Operation Hadin Kai have ambushed some terrorists, eliminating 39 among them, taking 159 into custody and rescuing 109 hostages in different locations.
Maj.-Gen. Edward Buba, the Director, Defence Media Operations, gave the update during a press briefing at Defence Headquarters, Abuja yesterday.

The Major-General vowed that men of the Nigerian Armed Forces will continue to deny saboteurs freedom to destabilise the country.
He also revealed successful air force operations in Sububu Forest in the Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State.
