Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina has been named Miss Universe Africa and Oceania after securing second place at the 73rd Miss Universe Pageant held in Mexico.
Chidinma, representing Nigeria, was the first runner-up to Miss Denmark, Victoria Theilvig, marking a historic achievement as the first Miss Universe Nigeria to reach the top two on the global stage.
Her journey to this accolade began with her victory in the Miss Nigeria competition, following her withdrawal from the Miss South Africa contest amid questions about her nationality.
Chidinma is now Miss Universe Nigeria, Africa and Oceania.
