The Minister of Defence, Muhammad Badaru, has launched the first phase of an intensive training programme for 800 special forces personnel, designed to enhance the military’s capacity for swift and precise operations.
Speaking at Camp Kabala in Jaji military cantonment, Kaduna State, Minister Badaru outlined the role of the newly inaugurated Special Operations Forces, emphasising their deployment in rapid response missions to tackle security threats across the country.

The initiative forms part of a broader strategy to strengthen national security, with officials highlighting the need for highly trained personnel capable of executing intelligence-driven and unconventional warfare operations.
