Nigeria’s oil output rises to 3month high of 1.43m bpd in November

Nigeria’s Oil Profit Falls 43% Despite Higher Production

Nigeria’s crude oil production increased to 1.43 million barrels per day in November, the highest level in three months, according to the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries. The figure represents a 2.14 percent rise from October’s 1.4 million barrels per day.

Despite the increase, Nigeria’s output remained below its assigned OPEC quota of 1.5 million barrels per day for the fourth consecutive month. OPEC said the data were obtained directly from Nigerian authorities and secondary sources including energy intelligence platforms.

The report confirmed Nigeria continues to lead Africa in crude oil production, followed by Libya with 1.37 million barrels per day. Secondary sources estimated Nigeria’s production at 1.48 million barrels per day in November, slightly lower than the 1.49 million barrels recorded in October.
