The Inspector General of Police, IGP, Kayode Egbetokun, has announced the arrest of nine suspects believed to be connected to the killings of police officers in the Ughelli area of Delta State.
The IGP says the suspects are currently providing the Force with information that will assist in the arrest of those involved in the killings.

Six police officers were killed at Ohoro forest, in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State on February 23rd this year. The tragic incident occurred at almost the same time 17 soldiers were murdered in the State.
The soldiers were killed while on a mission in Okuama community of Ughelli South Local Government Area in an incident that caused nationwide outrage and condemnation.
