The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has asked the Federal Government to reverse the petrol price hike.

On Wednesday, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPC-L, announced an increase in petrol prices across its retail outlets.

In response, the Nigeria Labour Congress president, Joe Ajaero, has voiced strong concerns, stating that the hike comes at a time when many Nigerians are struggling financially.

The NLC boss warned that the increase will worsen the economic situation for many, disrupting household budgets and pushing more people into poverty.
