Clubs competing in Nationwide League One (NLO) Division One and the U19 Youth League have been directed to complete facial verification for all players, the league has announced.
NLO Chief Operating Officer Olushola Ogunnowo said the Face ID system, now mandatory on the league’s website, is designed to protect player data and uphold the integrity of registration processes.

The system, which employs advanced camera technology to map facial features, aims to enhance player tracking and prevent irregular transfers.
Clubs have been reminded that all players must complete the verification process before the March 30 deadline. Failure to comply will render them ineligible for selection, with no new signings permitted beyond the registration window.
