The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited says it has completed the main pipeline line of the Ajaokuta Kaduna Kano gas project. The disclosure was made by NNPC executive director Bayo Ojulari.
Ojulari said the completion marks a major milestone in expanding gas infrastructure across Nigeria. He said the project is designed to boost power generation and industrial growth.
According to NNPC, the pipeline will help transport gas to northern Nigeria and support domestic energy supply. The company said further installations and testing are ongoing.

The AKK project is a key component of Nigeria’s gas expansion plan aimed at reducing energy costs and improving electricity reliability.
