The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited says it recorded an after-tax profit of 5.76 trillion naira, equivalent to 4.26 billion dollars, for the 2025 financial year. In its latest operational and financial update released on Thursday, the company reported total revenue of 60.517 trillion naira, with statutory payments of 14.706 trillion naira to government agencies and joint venture partners.
NNPC said Nigeria’s average crude oil and condensate production stood at 1.62 one barrels per day in 2025. Output in December declined to 1.54 barrels per day due to scheduled maintenance and unplanned outages, while revenue for the month reached 4.824 trillion naira.

The company also reported that natural gas supply in December averaged more than 6.914 billion standard cubic feet per day. It said Nigerian Refining Limited stations achieved 65% percent availability of Premium Motor Spirit in December 2025 as pipeline systems recorded full availability.
