Following prevailing speculations, Dangote Group has said the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has not commenced the lifting of premium motor spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, from its refinery.
In a statement on Thursday by Anthony Chiejina, chief branding and communications officer of Dangote Group, the company said it is yet to finalise its contract with the NNPC.
The Group said the petrol market is strictly regulated, and as such, the company can not determine, fix or influence the product price which falls under the purview of relevant government authorities.

The group assured Nigerians of high-quality petroleum products, which will be available across the country.
