NNPCL Reduces Petrol Prices at Retail Stations Amid Market Adjustments

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, has lowered the retail price of premium motor spirit, commonly known as petrol, at its filling stations in Abuja to N880 per litre.

Previously, the product was sold at N965 per litre at the NNPC retail outlet in Federal Housing, Kubwa. Similar price adjustments have been observed elsewhere, with reports indicating that NNPC retail stations at Irawo, Ransco bus stop along Ikorodu Road, and Idimu Road are dispensing petrol at N860 per litre.

This follows an earlier price revision on 13 February, when NNPCL reduced the pump price in Lagos from N960 to N945 per litre.

The latest adjustment comes in the wake of Dangote Petroleum Refinery’s decision to lower its ex-depot price to N825 per litre, the second such reduction within the month.
