The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, has remitted ₦10 trillion to the federation account.
This is according to the NNPCL Group Chief Executive Officer, Mele Kyari, who was speaking during a presentation to the National Assembly’s Joint Committee on Finance on Wednesday. Mr Kyari’s briefing highlighted NNPCL’s revenue performance for 2024 and its projections for 2025.

Addressing concerns over fuel subsidies, Mr Kyari called for a forensic audit of funds allocated for stabilising petrol prices and ensuring uninterrupted fuel supply between January and September 2024.
In discussing NNPCL’s financial outlook for the coming year, the CEO assured lawmakers that the company’s budgetary parameters for 2025 were both realistic and achievable. A finalised revenue projection will be presented following an upcoming board of directors meeting in two weeks.
