No Sacred Cows In Our Anti-Corruption Fight, Says EFCC

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Chairman, Mr. Ola Olukoyede, says he will pursue a broad-based and holistic anti-graft war that would not spare anyone linked with any form of economic and financial crime.

In a statement issued on Monday, Mr. Dele Oyewale, the EFCC spokesperson, quoted Olukoyede as having said this during a concert in Abuja.

Mr. Olukoyede, while reaffirming his commitment to an all-embracing, fully integrated war against corrupt practices, cautioned youths against indulging in internet-related offences, pointing out that the consequences of being convicted for such crimes are grave.

Olukoyede said EFCC, under his watch, is deeply interested in giving youths a glorious and sustainable future. To this end, he says, a Cyber Crime Research Centre is being planned at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Academy.
