Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo has reacted after a woman alleged she was defrauded of 33 million naira by an impersonator posing as him on TikTok.
The victim, identified as Victoria Ayano, filed a petition with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, accusing a man named Bolanle Azeez of carrying out the scam in July 2024.

Responding on Instagram, Ninalowo expressed shock at the amount, joking that he had never been paid such a fee for a Nollywood film. He also said he was used to cases of impersonation, which have plagued him for years.
In 2023, a Delta man was jailed for posing as the actor online, while in 2022 Ninalowo raised alarm over fake social media accounts created in his name to defraud unsuspecting fans.
