Nottingham Forest have confirmed the signing of Chinaza Nwosu, an England U17 international of Nigerian descent, on a three-year contract. The 17-year-old midfielder leaves West Ham United after eight years, where he rose through the academy ranks from the age of eight.
Nwosu was a key figure for West Ham’s U18 side last season, featuring 17 times in the U18 Premier League and making his FA Youth Cup debut in a narrow third-round defeat to Grimsby Town. At Forest, he will initially join the B team under Warren Joyce’s guidance but remains eligible for the senior Premier League squad.

Comfortable in both midfield and central defence, Nwosu is seen as a versatile prospect. He earned 11 caps for England U17s last season, scoring against the Netherlands and providing assists in European qualifiers against Malta and Latvia.
