The Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, OOPL, has accused the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, of a Gestapo-style invasion of its Ogun State premises.
Management said over 50 armed men stormed the site at about 2am on Saturday, firing shots and threatening guests at a private event. It alleged the operatives, led by a man known as “Olapade”, caused panic, injuries and chaos, but produced no warrant.

Police at the gates and additional officers from Kemta Police Station reportedly denied knowledge of the raid. EFCC has confirmed a hotel operation in Abeokuta with 93 arrests, without naming the venue.
OOPL insists it was the actual target and called the incident a violation of rights. It has vowed to petition top authorities and warned of legal action if the Commission fails to apologise.
