Ogun Imposes Curfew On Sagamu Over Cult War

The Ogun State government has announced a restriction of movement in Sagamu from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m daily following ceaseless clashes by rival cult groups.

In a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Lekan Adeniran, the government urged residents of the town to abide by the order pending the improvement of security in the area.

The government also assured that police and other security agencies are on top of the situation and will restore normalcy.

The police confirmed that 8 youths have been killed in the cult war between Friday and Sunday, but unofficial sources say the number may be higher.
