The Nigeria Police Force has taken into custody the driver involved in an accident that injured British-Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua. The incident occurred while Joshua was visiting Nigeria.
Oluseyi Babaseyi, police spokesperson in Ogun Command confirmed the detention and said investigations would continue.
The police said the probe will determine the circumstances surrounding the crash and establish responsibility. They assured the public that the matter will be handled transparently.

Anthony Joshua was reported to have received medical attention following the incident and has now been discharged from hospital.
