The Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, has called on President Bola Tinubu to grant political pardon to Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
Speaking in Awka, the Anambra State capital, Damian Okeke-Ogene, the National Vice President of Ohanaeze, said Mr Kanu’s release would help restore peace, allow the government to identify those perpetuating violence, and effectively end the troubling sit-at-home practice in the South East geopolitical zone.
