Belgian-Nigerian winger Kazeem Olaigbe is set to join Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor from French club Rennes, strengthening the growing Nigerian contingent in Turkey.
The 22-year-old arrived to a warm welcome at Trabzon Airport and is expected to undergo medicals before sealing a multi-year deal. Olaigbe will join compatriots Paul Onuachu and Anthony Nwakaeme at the club, which is reshaping its attack with a focus on youth and pace.

Primarily a left winger but comfortable across the front line, Olaigbe came through Anderlecht’s academy before stints in England, Scotland, and Belgium. Despite joining Rennes earlier this year, he struggled for minutes, making only ten Ligue 1 appearances.
Capped at youth level for Belgium, he remains eligible for Nigeria, with Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle reportedly tracking his development.
His current market value is listed at €5.2 million.
