Former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh has announced his intention to officially join the All Progressives Congress (APC), declaring that the PDP “abandoned” him during his time of trial and imprisonment.
Mr Metuh said unexpected support came from political opponents in APC, including a former governor and the current president’s camp.
He stated that he accepted the support because it showed “compassion beyond party lines.”

Metuh added that his decision to join the APC was not driven by opportunism but by a desire to re-engage in public service and align with those he believes are committed to national progress.
