Nigerian actress and filmmaker Omoni Oboli has made a triumphant return to the big screen with her latest film, ‘The Uprising: Wives on Strike 3’. The film has already raked in N10 million in presale ticket sales over the weekend, thanks to a newly launched voucher system aimed at boosting early sales.
The filmmaker shared the impressive milestone on Instagram, expressing heartfelt appreciation to fans and supporters for their unwavering backing.

Marking her first cinematic release in five years, the film is now showing nationwide. Its premiere on October 13, 2024, at EbonyLife Place in Lagos, was a star-studded affair. Among the notable attendees were Nollywood icons Uche Jombo, Hilda Dokubo, Chioma Akpotha, Femi Branch, and several media personalities and industry influencers, making the night a celebration of Nigerian cinema.
