Greek football club Olympiacos has reportedly agreed a €2.5 million fee to sign Boavista defender Bruno Onyemaechi. The 25-year-old Nigerian international is set to arrive in Athens today to undergo medical tests and complete the signing of his contract.
Onyemaechi has been in excellent form for Boavista this season, despite the team’s struggles in the Portuguese League. In 18 league appearances, he has scored three goals and registered one assist, showcasing his versatility as both a left-back and a winger.

His strong performances have attracted interest from several European clubs, including Turkish side Trabzonspor, who were previously in pole position to secure his signature. Onyemaechi joined Boavista on loan from CD Feirense in 2022, and his move was made permanent the following season.
The transfer to Olympiacos marks a significant step in Onyemaechi’s career, as he moves to one of Greece’s most prominent clubs.
