Orban Strikes as Hoffenheim Secure a Point Against Frankfurt
Gift Orban, the Nigerian striker for Hoffenheim

Nigerian forward Gift Orban made an immediate impact as Hoffenheim fought to a 2-2 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt at the PreZero Arena on Sunday.

Frankfurt opened the scoring in the 26th minute when Hugo Ekitike converted from the penalty spot, giving the visitors an early advantage.

Orban, 22, entered the fray in the 63rd minute, replacing Max Moerstedt, and wasted no time announcing his presence. Just two minutes after his introduction, he latched onto a pass from Adam Hlozek and fired home from inside the box to level the score.

The draw sees Hoffenheim remain in 15th place on the Bundesliga table with 18 points from 19 matches, sitting four points clear of the relegation zone.

Up next for Hoffenheim is a challenging away fixture against Bayer Leverkusen as they look to climb further up the standings.
