Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has donated N10 million to newly crowned NPFL champions Remo Stars in recognition of their historic league title win.
The Galatasaray forward, currently on loan in Turkey, divided the gift equally between players and technical staff. Remo Stars clinched their first-ever top-flight crown with a 1-0 victory over Niger Tornadoes, sealing the title with three games to spare and finishing 10 points clear of Rivers United.

Osimhen personally called the team to congratulate them, underscoring his support for Nigerian football.
Founded as FC Dender in 2004 and rebranded in 2010, the Ikenne-based club’s rise from grassroots obscurity to national champions has drawn praise across the footballing community. Osimhen’s gesture is being seen as a show of solidarity with homegrown talent and a boost for the development of the domestic game.
