Muhtar Bakare

Mr. Muhtar Bakare has over 30 years of experience in business leadership in diverse industries such as financial services, publishing, technology, real estate, procurement services, renewable energy, and educational services.
He started his career at Nigeria International Bank as a Management Associate and rose to the level of Assistant General Manager. He left Citibank to join Trust Bank of Africa as an Executive Director leading the Sales and Marketing Groups and helped to attract new talent and fresh capital, while providing strategic leadership that put the Bank on a path to transformation.
Muhtar pivoted into the media industry, and founded Kachifo Limited, an independent publishing company, and its flagship imprint Farafina.
He is the Chairman of Kachifo Ltd, Koidi Radio Ltd, Beyond Energy Resources Ltd, Noor Takaful Insurance Company, and The Alternative Bank Limited. He also sits on the boards of Descasio Ltd, Purple Real Estate Income Plc, Greensprings Educational Services Ltd, and Rainbow Educational Services Ltd.Mr. Bakare holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Architecture, from Obafemi Awolowo University. He also completed the Senior Executive Program for Africa (SEPA) at Harvard Business School and Wits Business School.
Baba Muniru

Munir Umaru Baba has a wealth of experience and expertise in funds management and control with over 20 years of experience working in both the public and private sectors respectively and has made indelible achievements there.
He is the Executive Director of Credent Capital and Advisory limited, and sits on the board of Credent Investment Managers Limited, Syn8gise Solutions Limited, Bima Shelter Limited, First Source Nigeria Limited, Sub-Saharan Integrated Services Africa Holdings and Daria media Nig. Limited.
He holds an MBA in finance from Howard University, Washington DC.
Onyekachi Onubogu

Onyekachi Onubogu is an experienced business leader with over 25 years of hands-on experience in sales, trade marketing, brand management, and finance.
Some of the companies he has worked with include Diageo Nigeria, Kimberly Clark, South Africa, Prosperity Capital Management, Kenya, Promasidor Nigeria Limited, and the TGI group.
He is currently CEO of Frutta Juice and Services in Lagos.
Folake Ani-Mumuney

Folake Ani-Mumuney currently heads Marketing and Corporate Communications at First Bank. Before this, she served as Chief Marketing and Communication Officer for the Dangote Group brands, as well as Policies and Communications for British Airways Plc, across Europe and Africa.
Papa Omotayo

Papa Omotayo is an award-winning, architect, designer, writer, and filmmaker. Papa’s work strongly focuses on creating work that explores the nature of culture and context within the contemporary Nigerian and extended African global condition. A strong believer in creating work through cross-disciplinary collaboration and participation, he strives to find new possibilities for creating nuanced visual narratives in Nigeria’s (Africa’s) urban centers and beyond.
He is the founder of A Whitespace Creative Agency and Creative Director of MOE+ Art Architecture. He currently lives and works in Lagos, Nigeria.
Kadaria Ahmed

Kadaria Ahmed is a journalist and media entrepreneur. She is the Executive Director of Daria Media, a company bridging the gap in Nigeria’s journalism space by providing public service journalism.
She is also the Managing Director of Radio Now 95.3 FM, a radio station broadcasting out of Lagos to the world, with the mission to provide factual, unbiased, and Nigerian-focused news, information, and entertainment that empowers citizens to hold public and private sectors accountable, build social consciousness and promote nation building.
