Owen Cooper Becomes Youngest Male Emmy Winner at 15

British actor Owen Cooper has made Emmy Awards history, becoming the youngest male winner at just 15. He won best supporting actor in a limited series for Netflix’s ‘Adolescence’, which also claimed best limited series, directing, writing, and acting awards for Stephen Graham and Erin Doherty.

In his speech, Cooper described the moment as “surreal”, while Graham said his win as lead actor showed “any dream is possible”. Doherty, who won best supporting actress, called the production “the definition of a team effort”.

The medical drama ‘The Pitt’ took best drama series, with acting honours for Katherine LaNasa and Noah Wyle. Sci-fi thriller ‘Severance’ also earned awards, including a first-ever win for Tramell Tillman as best supporting actor in a drama.

In comedy, ‘The Studio’ broke records with 13 wins, while ‘Hacks’ star Jean Smart repeated her best actress victory. Other winners included ‘The Traitors US’, ‘Last Week Tonight with John Oliver’, and ‘Andor’. The ceremony concluded with host Nate Bargatze announcing a $250,000 charity donation.
