Nollywood actor Patrick Doyle has criticised entertainers who publicly campaign for politicians in exchange for personal benefits, describing such behaviour as greed. Speaking in an interview, the 64-year-old said financially comfortable actors should use their platforms to advocate for the masses rather than seek private rewards.
Mr. Doyle alleged that some entertainers who support political candidates later fall out among themselves over financial compensation. He said he had witnessed colleagues quarrelling over payments after participating in campaign activities.
