The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has condemned the revocation of its land titles by the All Progressives Congress, APC, led government, describing the move as a political assault on democracy.
In a statement on Tuesday, PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, criticised the decision by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, to strip the party of its Right of Occupancy. The revocation affects both the PDP’s National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, and a new property under construction.

Mr Ologunagba denounced the action as an attempt to suppress opposition voices, warning that it signals a drift towards totalitarianism.
Earlier, the FCT Minister said the PDP had failed to settle land charges for 19 years, from January 2006 to January 2025.
