PDP heads to court over outcome of Edo Governorship poll

Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Acting National Chairman, Ambassador Umar Damagum, has said his party will challenge the outcome of the just concluded Edo State Governorship Elections in court. 

He made the announcement at a press conference in Abuja on Monday. According to him, the way the judiciary treats the outcome of the  election will determine whether Nigerians still have a country.

The PDP also called on the Independent National Electoral Commission to review the results of the election, saying the review will allow INEC to declare the result that was obtained from the genuine votes cast at the polling units.
