PDP Urges President Tinubu to Probe Alleged N25 Trillion Corruption by APC Leaders

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on President Bola Tinubu to investigate and recover over N25 trillion allegedly misappropriated by leaders and officials of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The demand was made in a New Year message signed by PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, on Tuesday.

In the statement titled “Address Insecurity, Fuel, Food Crisis,” the PDP urged the President to address pressing issues, including insecurity, high fuel prices, and food scarcity, to alleviate the suffering of Nigerians.

The opposition party also criticised the government’s lack of clarity on measures to guarantee the security of lives and property, reduce widespread hunger, and lower fuel costs. They emphasised the need for immediate and practical steps to address these challenges in the new year.

The PDP congratulated Nigerians on the arrival of 2025 and encouraged citizens to remain hopeful, expressing faith in the country’s resilience and potential for recovery.
