Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has congratulated Nigerian singer Tems on her Grammy win. Tems won the ‘Best African Music Performance’ category for her song ‘Love Me Jeje’ at the 67th Grammy Awards.
In a message on X, Obi praised Nigerian youths for their achievements in entertainment and described Tems’ win as well-deserved. He also congratulated other Grammy-nominated Nigerian artists.

Meanwhile, music star Davido has also celebrated Tems’ success. In a post on X, he expressed pride in her achievement while also congratulating American singer Chris Brown.
This marks Tems’ second Grammy win, following her 2023 award for ‘Wait for U’, her collaboration with Future and Drake.
